Established in 2023, the Garden Route Injury Treatment Centre was created to support people in pursuing healthier, more active and fulfilling lives.
We recognise that wellbeing is multifaceted. Physical health, recovery, movement, environment, relationships and personal development all shape how we experience the world and realise our potential.
By bringing together different disciplines and approaches, GRITC aims to support people across these dimensions, with a focus on individual needs, considered guidance and a more connected view of health and wellbeing.
Etienne Joubert is the founder of GRITC, bringing a background in sport, recreation and exercise science, together with experience across sport, fitness, recreation and sports administration.
His personal experiences with sports-related injuries led him to explore different approaches to recovery, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy and broader approaches to healthy living.
These experiences helped shape his vision for a multidisciplinary organisation that considers the different dimensions of human health, recovery and development.
Through GRITC, Etienne aims to help people explore considered approaches to wellbeing and pursue their individual goals.
